Question about Karcher 2500 PSI Pressure Washer
I have a Karcher pressure washer model K2400 HH that I got from Costco. It won't go high pressure. I checked everything according to the manual but no go. Karcher tech suggested that it could be a sticking unloader valve that I can clean and lube myself. They said "There are only two bolts that keep the valve cover in place so do not remove more bolts than this. Do not take any other bolts off or you will open the pump and lose oil. Typically they need to be cleaned and not replaced. Do not operate the unit with this valve remove or unbolted." However I don't see 2 bolts that will remove anything. Looks like 4 bolts removes the whole end piece. Suggestions? '
On top of the pump you will see 2 screws or bolts after removing plastic cover. this is the unloader. pull off the cap and put some oil on top of unloader replace top and see if it works. if not will have get a pair of pliers and pull unloader out and clean. This will work had same problem with mine.

What type of oil do you use?
What kind of oil is in the pump?
