Question about NetGear WGR614 Wireless Router
I am trying to install a new wireless router. When using the install disk, I get the message "there is only a wireless adapter detected. No ethernet adapter detected". However, I am have an ethernet connection in the back of my computer. Any ideas why I keep getting this error?
Your ethernet adapter might be disabled. Go to Control Panel > Network Connections and look for Local Area Connection. Right-click it and choose Enable. Or go to Device Manager and Enable it there. If that didn't help, try to use a different Ethernet cable.
