Keeps shutting down

The tv will try to start up and then just shuts down.  It makes a clicking noise in the rear.  When it shuts down, the red light on the front labeled lamp comes on.  Is it just the lamp???

2007 Panasonic 50in Plasma shuts off after being on 30 min sleep timer off, is the problem the cooling fans out/ over heating

Yes, cooling fan could be a problem. Just see whether it goes off during before shut off. If yes, the TV might need service. To know whether the fan goes off first or the TV, stick one side of any thin vibrating membrane such as a silver paper (like the one you see in cigarette packets) on the fan outlet, without blocking it, so that you can see whether it stops before the TV shuts down. Alternatively you can hand an inflated balloon which keeps flying off from the area of the fan and shall stop when the fan stops. I suggest this, in order to save your time looking at the rear all the time until the TV stops. Even then, one is likely to overlook whether the fan stops or TV stops first.

I have a Samsung HLT5076SX/XAA with power up to picture problems.

Im going to guess that you have crackling and hissing noises, as well as the infamous "click" then nothing when you try to start the tv. This is caused by circuit failure on the main board, which powers up the main inverter to charge the screen. ( a high voltage thing that makes the picture come on) when the board cannot provide a high enough starting voltage, the symptoms you described start happening. It is not an easy fix, and will probably set you back a couple hundred dollars or so to fix. I hope the best for you

WELL IT MAY SEEM LIKE THE END BUT ITS NOT. YOUR TV HAS BAD CAPACITORS ON THE POWER SUPPLY.. THESE CAPACITORS ARE PREVENTING THE RELAY TO STAY OPEN AND GIVE POWER TO THE REST OF YOUR TELEVISION.. THAT CLICKING SOUND YOU HEAR IS THE RELAY OPENING AND SHUTTING DOWN.. THOSE CAPACITORS NEED TO BE REPLACED.. IF YOU OPEN YOUR TV AND FOLLOW THE ELECTRICAL CORD.. IT FIRST CONNECTS TO YOUR POWER SUPPLY... LOOK FOR BAD CAPACITORS THAT ARE BULGY ON TOP.. OR BLOWN.. REPLACE WITH SAME VALUE... THE VOLTAGE COULD BE A LITTLE HIRE.. BUT TRY TO KEEP THE SAME.. BEFORE YOU TOUCH ANY OF THEM.. MAKE SURE YOUR TV HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED FOR 3 DAYS.. THOSE CAPACITORS HOLD ALOT OF POWER EVEN AFTER DISCONECTED... Samsung model HLP4663WX/XAA with loud buzzing noise, need to know which part to replace.

See attached photo: you have a bad color wheel----it turns at about 12,000 rpm and bearings in the tiny motor go bad.

High pitched or fan like sound is classic symptom.

The wheel is available on the internet and You Tube has video instructions by model number for replacing it---Google the model number for the part number for your set to locate the part and instructions.

This for most people is a do it yourself job---takes like 45 minutes start to finish.

If color wheel slows too much set will shut down as its speed is monitored and the wheel can even shatter causing shutdown of the set.

Kenmore 70 Series Electric Dryer will not start

It sounds like the hi-limit thermostate and/or the thermal cut-off is what is causing your dryer to shut down. Basically it's over heating. You should replace these two items togeather. Also the thermal cut-off will be triggered by a grounded out heating element. Here is a diagram of where these items are located. hope this helps

Tv shut off wont come back on makes clicking sound

It seems that Tv works for some time and then shuts off, if so it can be due to a thermal shunting and then it seems to hop around trying to start up with a clicking noise.
You need to start by checking on this clicking noise, once this is confirmed it will be relative of the fault.
perhaps it can be due to some loose links, dirt or shorting due to moisture in HT or a trip due to overload or chnages in the +B. All these means that you need to check the board for the correct voltage feed and see if there is any issues.

We were watching tv and there was a pop the screen went out and now there is a red button just to the left of the power button blinking and making a clicking noise?

A pop means that a component inside the tv has failed the big way - it has exploded. The red button that blinks is the status light - it signals that a massive short has been detected and the power source of the tv has been forcefully shut down. The clicking comes from the source, it keeps trying to start so the protection system keeps shutting it down.
The failed component will have to be identified, replaced and the rest of the tv tested to check what other damage has occurred and fix it. This is a job for a pro, no way you can fix that yourself. Unplug the tv from the wall - leaving it powered only makes the damage greater - and call one.
