Accidentally dropped HTC diamond - Display blackout

Hi, I accidentally dropped the HTC diamond last night. The display is blacked out but the phone switches on and the screen is sensitive to touch. I can hear the screen tab sound and the phone rings and vibrates on incoming calls. It is not accepting charge or rather not indicating because the center button is breathing. let me know any solution for this. My phone was working fine all day. But for some reason I turned it off and tried to start it back up and the screen blacked out. The phone turns on but I got a blackout screen. Can anyone please help? ?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Shine a bright light on it and see if you can see and resemblance of the display on the screen. If you can see a display, the backlighting on the screen is broken - if you can't see a display, it's likely the screen is broken or the display controller is broken. Backlight would be the cheapest fix, usually. Also, you should be able to transfer your phone numbers over to a new phone by using the same SIM card so long as the phone numbers were stored on the SIM card - the only way to find out is to put it in another phone and check out the address book.
