Question about Sony Handycam DCR-SR40 Camcorder
Hi, within few seconds after ternig on, my sony DCR-SR290 camcoder turns off abruptly with a few blinking on the screen even though the battery is fully charged. The built in lens cover does not close either. Also few months ago the LCD screen became yellowish permanently. I will be grateful if you can provide me any solution.
Ribbon cable located in the rotating lcd is cut. thats why the shut down its grounding it self out. needs to be replaced. real pain though, cable is serpintined around the part that rotates. sony does flat rate for prob. about 250 US
