dear sir/ madam,
i bought my acer aspier 4520 laptop last month when i went for a hockey tour to singapore, after i came home (after 3 days) when i was using the laptop to play a game or wautch a movie or even browsing the net the screen gose all 15 degerees vertical lines (not this side but the entire screen is with lines" //////") from top to bottom but behind i can here the movie going on or the sound of the game but none of which hasent stoped. i tried to uninstall and reinstalling the VGA driver but the problem is still there, why is this happening and what can i do to resolve this, please help me.

- my screen goes on and off and it is usually off most of the time. i do not have the VGA drivers but i suspect it has something to do with the hardware other than the software.i don't know what to do. there seems to be no brake in connections to the motherboard and all cables are intact...... this is a lcd panel problem not repairng this panel
