SOURCE: Need replacement grids for Sharper Image Model

Replacement grids have been posted to ebay. You can replace the complete unit for $45 on ebay so that would probably be a better solution. The last grid I purchased on ebay for similar was around $20.

The company went under and doesn't service them anymore. It's possible you could find a local repair place that might be able to do something, but there is no authorized or trained service station, and you can't get parts.

You might be able to pick up spare parts if you scour eBay long enough.

I have 2 of these air purifiers and I love them. I came to this site looking for a resolution because 1 of them stopped working properly. After running for about 30 seconds, the red light would come on. I had cut out 1 wire that was broken and thought that was the problem. There were sparks when it was turned on. After reading a couple answers here, I took a closer look and noticed that a second wire was also broken at the bottom. I just cut the second broken wire off the top and removed it and the purifier works great now. No more sparks!

I have a sharper image s1212 no hands deluxe can opener, ive replaced the batteries and it still doesnt work...any ideas on how to fix it? thanks!


Is the optical sensor clean? Try rolling the batteries in place, this should wear through any oxide layer that may have formed.

Joyce, according to Sharper Image, if you purchased it online from Sharper Image after 2008, they will assist you with the repair. Call Customer Service 877-714-7444 . If that is not the case, you can either return it to the place of purchase for repair or take it to a small appliance repair shop,

Who could I send the blade interior section to to replace a broken part?


If you purchased it before 2008, nobody. Sharper image went bankrupt and was bought by another co who does NOT warranty or repair older products. Below is excerpt from their site:

Need replacement grids for Sharper Image Model S1637 since clips at bottom have broken off of grid.

If the warranty you are counting on is a Sharper Image Warranty I need to advise you that it was voided in the buyout on 30 May, 2008 when everything at Sharper Image was liquidated by Hilco Consumer Capital, Gordon Brothers, and Bluestar Alliance. If however it was a warranty company outside of Sharper Image you need to contact them.

You can purchase a bulb for the GP on ebay for under $11, which is really a good price considering what you would have paid from Sharper Image. Installation is easy, you just pull up on the tab on the bottom of the filter and pull up. When you are looking at the bulb, turn it 1/4 turn, (2 clicks) and pull it out. That is all there is to it. Hope this helps you.

Blinking blue light on ionic breeze s1871


Wher can you return it? Does anyone have and address? My Dads unit has a blinking blue light and the folks at sharper image say to bad so sad only after 2 months out of warrenty. Is there any one out there that can help? I am done buying things from Sharper Image with their attitude! hlaytos@aol.com
