Question about Mitsubishi WS48511 48" Rear Projection Television
I have blue ghosting that comes and goes, any channel and with extrnal inputs like DVD player. Sometime it last 10 minutes, sometimes a day or two and then clears up. What would you recommend?
You need to have the convergence output IC's replaced. These are large amplifiers which control where the red, green and blue beams land on the picture. When they fail you will get colored ghosts. This is a very common problem for any projection television. Any reputable tv repair shop can do the repair in your home and the average cost of the repair is between $225 and $325.
