Read our guide on laminate floors
Sealing the laminate flooring is easy. Take any clear or yellow wood glue to seal the crack. A caulk or wood putty will be also fine to fix the gaps. Take a thick coating of glue in a spoon and apply to this surface, aiming for even coverage from one end to the other. You must apply enough glue, else the floor may not hold up long under constant foot traffic.
If the gap is huge, use floor gap fixer. When the laminate floor gaps are not repairable, you can simply replace the floor.
I personally prefer hardwood floor, as hardwood floor repairing is more easy. After repairing with hardwood floor refinishing, the floor will look like new.
Laminate flooring also has advantages over the hardwood flooring. But hardwood floor is more durable than laminate floor.

and it will cost you considerably less. Second, laminate flooring can be
installed above and below the grade unlike hardwood flooring. Moreover, the
laminate flooring is installed without using any nails or glue which make it
much easier to it yourself. Furthermore, laminate flooring is extremely
durable, easy to maintain and can be replaced easily.
