Get 0 road analysed then system shut down and restarts on its own.
When I type in an address at the very end after I press done, the tom tom one should then read the road analysed then show me the way to go. But what I get is 0 road analysed then after about 15 seconds the tom tom one shuts down then it restarts again all on its own. some adress does work but many other it does not work at all. I don't know if its the system its self or the sd card I put into the tom tom one. Can anyone help me with this problem

Reset the unit by pushing a bent paperclip or pin into the hole on the bottom marked 'reset' turn it back on, plug it in & charge it via USB overnight or as long as you can in the car, make sure the led on the top is green, tap the bottom right of the screen & check the battery symbol on the unit says charging underneath.
If this doesn't help.

Well this would have to do with having the update there GPS systems its not the unit itself.. You want to correct something that is already bing taken care of but its a slow proccess there are new streets going up everyday so stay tuned and make sure you update you're Tom-Tom via internet not catch the GPS update Hope this helps..
More than likely your house number is not in the data base. I have the same problem. What I have done is when you want to setup your tt home address go where you get full bars and are ready to navigate. Go to set home address and tap current location as your home address.
Hope this helps.
I'm really only giving an educated guess but as a technician with 26 years experience I suspect that either you have a faulty memory chip or the firmware which runs under Microsoft operating system may be corrupted. My Trax 350 works like a charm doing exactly what you have done WITHOUT a memory card.
Try push RESET which is at the bottom next to the SD card slot with a paper clip. If that doesn't work I suggest taking it back under warranty.
BTW, I ended up "pinching" the useless 32 MB SD card ( too small so I replaced it with 2GB ) that came with the camera I bought my son. More than enough size for me and my son couldn't care less!
