Question about Nokia 6126 Cellular Phone

Nokia 6126 cracked housing

Was playing ping pong with my 11YO daughter and bumped the corner of the table and cracked the clear case cover over the small LCD. The phone has been working this way for a year but I'm now unemployed and need to make the phone last as long as I can. I've seen dummy display phones cheap on eBay and wondered if the cases are the same as the actual phones so I could use the parts.

Almost upgraded to a new iPhone last month since I was eligible. Sure glad I waited. That extra $30 a month would have hurt...

What can I do to extend the lifespan of my ping pong table?

You should look into buying a cover for your table for when it is not in use. If you have an indoor table, your options are endless; however if you have an outdoor table, I highly recommend getting a waterproof cover. I will send you a few links with a variety of covers for your table.

Does the color of the surface of the ping pong table matter?

Yes. The color needs to provide a contrast between the floor and walls of the area in which you are playing. Traditionally, table top surfaces were green/ grey; however recently, a matte blue color became a popular choice because it is a good compliment to the red floor in most tournament rooms.

How do i restore the surface of my outdoor ping pong table

Hi there,

Use painters tape to cover the white lines of your table tennis table.

Use sandpaper (150grit) to smooth the surface. This will level any bumps or scratches. Fill deep cracks with wood filler, let it dry and sand the table again.
Make sure that the table is clean before you begin the painting procedure.

Use chalkboard spray paint about 8 inches away from the table and spray each side. Allow 8 hours for the paint to dry then repeat with another coat. Next day, repeat the process so you have 3 layers of paint. Chalkboard spray paint helps the ball bounce to the correct height and speed.

Remove the painters tape after the last coat and allow the table to dry for at least 24 hours.
Hope this helps, vote me if so :)
