Question about ASUS P4P800E Deluxe (90M8LCW0G0EAY) Motherboard

My computer makes an alarm noise

When my computer has been on for a length of time (about half an hour usually though it can differ)the internal speaker makes a noise that sounds very similar to a car alarm but at a higher pitch. It doesn't do this every time however. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this?

Skemi watch 1068 changing the time from 24 hour time to 12 hour time

On a different Skmei model, you can toggle the 12/24 settings within alarm settings. This also changes the setting for displayed time.
As I suspect that a lot of their models use the same internal module, it's worth a try.

Half hour lag

Some watches can display dual times (two values) usually off by an integer number of hours + 30 minutes, Read the manual to set the digital display time then correct the analog display. Or just use one of the two.

My radio controlled watch is exactly half an hour fast according to the hands, but the internal clock appears to be correct. This happened when I tried to adjust the watch to Canadian time

If I understood correctly this watch have a analog watch display ..and it is half an hour forward..but when you set timing or the alarm it behave normal ..and so the internal one is correct ..but just do not display the correct time on the analog one ...If it do not have any means to correct manually the analog watch ..I advice to try to remove all power and stop the indicators at the exact time ...(a sharp hour...) and power it back after the exact time it is forwarded ....This way the analog clock will be stopped..and the internal one will go on and will adjust at the spot by the radio time ..and you will have both timers in correct display ...If it does have buttons or so in the back ..try to correct them by hand ..

I've made a 10m water level using two 5m lengths of clear 6mm internal diameter pipe joined in the middle with a proprietary tube connector. I looped the tube with both ends next to each other and the...

The internal diameter is notional and if the two lengths you have used came from different production batches then their average internal diameter along the length of one half may be different to the other. The fact that there is such large ratio between the length of the tube and the internal diameter only makes matters worse.

You need ideally to source a single 10m length and to select a larger internal diameter to maximise accuracy: 10mm i/d will be better but if you can cope with the extra volume of liquid then 15mm or even 20mm will be much more accurate.

Laptop (DELL) makes an alarming sound

I am sorry to tell you but once even a tiny amount of water, gets onto the Mother Board, usually, due to an instantaneous, chemical reaction, and current, tracks, where it never should, Unless attended to immediately, and even then it seldom works, you will never recover your unit. If the unit was on, or was turned on after the water ingress, then the damage is done. IF however the unit was NOT ON, was NOT turned ON, and the unit stripped down, immediately, there may be a faint chance of recovery, if however if what has happened, to you occur, then unfortunately, it is most likely, beyond recovery. However your Hard Drive, should be OK, you cab remove that, and either install into another PC, or getting the data of it with a USB dongle, and a PC. You would have to reinstall another operating system, on the replaced HDD, IF installed into another PC, the data will all still be there though. providing you just do a repair re-install, or install into another directory.

this one is hands on fix, many times the spark ignition the one that makes the clicking noise is clicking on a different position,so you most look inside the oven to see the spark, you can see it better at night or when is dark to see the spark, that spark is right at the tip of the oven pilot, make sure you see the spark lighting the pilot.as long as the pilot does not ignite.the clicking sounds continues making the noise. if the pilot lights the noise will stop, if the oven burner does not light after pilot is being for about 1 minute and a half the safety valve needs replacing

Alarm goes off at midnight & repeats for half hour, and not set

what you have to do is
1. press the mode button until you get to the setting that has "AL" at the bottom right.
2. then you press the "receive" button to switch between the four alarms.
3. as you are going through each alarm time, you need to look in the circle at the top right. When you are going through the alarm times, if there is a mark next to "ALM", you need to press the "time memo" button so that the mark next to "ALM" is no longer there.
4. repeat step fout for all of the alarms, and the problem should be fixed.
