How can I add a "hot key" to my iPad. I want to be able to fill in values such as my email address in one keystroke. Is this possible?

If you use Google Chrome and login with a google account, you can save responses to fields when you fill in forms and it will auto populate those fields on other forms. Typical fields are first/last name, email, address, phone number(s)

I have word 2007 and windows 7. The speller ignores many very obvious spelling mistakes in my document. I think that I've embedded text with paragraphs that are somehow marked as "not for spelling"....

Open word 2007
Go to tools->Optios->Spellin and Grammer.
Then enable all checkboxes then apply and ok.
If still face same issue then you need to repair your word 2007.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Create a Form from the main table with a subform based on the other data you will want populated. You put the fields in the subform that you want populated from the main form. Go to the properties for the subform and select the data tab, In the data tab, select the Link Master Fields and choose the field you want linked. When you type the ID number in the main form, the other firlds you have in hte subform should populate from the data inthe table.

No available fields in form wizard

If you select the correct table from the drop down, the fields should be shown in the box. or keep the table open and try creating form. or create a blank form and on the right side you will get tables and fields, you can just drag and drop required fields

    email = Edit2;

    // build message string
    message = "mailto:[email protected]?subject=Title&body=Form contents%0A";
    message = message + "phone: " + phone + "%0A";
    message = message + "email: " + email;

    // execute form if errormessage is empty
    if(ErrorMessage=="") getURL(message,"_self");

Hit F9 to preview. The form will not work until you export Flash file and HTML page. Choose "File" > "Export HTML Page" to create HTML page and test the form in a browser. This form is using very basic validation. Use "%0A" as line separator.
Use the following functions or attributes of the string:

  • charAt(x) returns zero-based character at position x
  • indexOf(substring,startindex) returns the position of the first occurrence of the specified substring or -1.
  • lastIndexOf(substring,startindex) returns the position of the last occurrence of the specified substring or -1.
  • substr(start,n) returns n characters string starting at specified position
  • toLowerCase(), toUpperCase() converts the string to lower or upper case

Hi running word 2003 have an auto fill in the date feature installed on a fax template how do I disable it. if I open up previous documents composed the present date populates yet the document was composed...

This is caused by the document using a "field" and not an actual date. Press <ALT+F9> to see the date's field code. You will probably see: { DATE } or { DATE @ "M/d/yyyy" } (NOTE: The M/d/yyyy formatting may be different for you; since this is personal choice). You can manually delete the field and type in your date. To automate this, open the TEMPLATE (*.DOT) and change the field by using: Insert > Field... and selecting "CreateDate" from the Field names list. Also - set your desired format too and then click <OK>. Save the change to your template and it will use the date you create the fax and keep that date if the fax is saved as a document and reopened in the future.

Relation

populate the field's controlsource with =forms.formname.field and then from the properties of the new field change the format to a required one, on saving it will use that format.
