Question about Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook
Whenever I turn on my pc, I am receiving the following error while booting.
Controller Bus#00, Device#1F, Function#02: 06 Ports, 01 Devices Port-00:
and then "boot device not found" and after restarting, everything works fine. Please help to eliminate this problem...
This means that at times your hard drive can't be found due to either the hard drive not working or that laptop not being able to find the hard drive due to either a motherboard problem or the ribbons that connect the motherboard to the hard drive. This problem will probably continue to escalate until the hard drive, laptop or the ribbon fails. You could try replacing the ribbon first as it's probably the cheapest to replace if you can find one then change the hard drive and if that doesn't fix it wait for the lap top to fail.
