Every time I open Safari, I get a "Safari not responding" message, the internet connection is fine, the problem is with Safari, what can I Do? For several days I can't properly browse the net. I constantly get the message that my server is not responding. Some websites are opening, and others are not. I tried in Firefox and safari, both give the same message for certain websites. I use mac OSX 10.5.7. I have tried MacScan and reseting the browser too.
Hi there. The problem is the internet not the web browsers, and it depends what time of day your trying to connect to a certain site, this is because 99% of ISP's have taken on a fair usage policy which means at certain times of the day your connection speed is capped to the internet doesn't get clogged up. I use a Windows PC with a 50meg connection and i experience the same problems with certain sites. The only thing that i can suggest you do is update your java and flash (macromedia) software and see if that helps at all.
