Question about Sierra Print Artist Platinum
When I click on Print Artist ( I have 8.0) it comes up that Monet application is having a problem and needs to close. I don't understand why all of a sudden I can't open it. I have been using this to make flyers for my business for years. Thanks for any help. I have restarted my computer and still the same announcement comes up.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

My parents ran into this same issue this afternoon. After a bunch of trial and error over the phone, here's the solution:
1. Go to the Start Menu and open Computer (used to be called My Computer).
2. Browse to c:\Program Files (x86)\Nova\Print Artist Platinum
3. Right-click on Print Artist.exe and create a shortcut
4. Drag the shortcut to the desktop
5. Double-click on the new shortcut to start the application.
6. Delete the non-working shortcut.
Since I was working with my parents over the phone, some of the file names may be slightly incorrect. However, this should be close enough to get you working.

SOURCE: With a Windows 7 operating
I would recomend running your old Print Artist 8 in compatability mode, since you are dissatisfied with the new programs. to do so, install the program on your windows 7 system, if you have not tried already, and right-click on the corresponding desktop shortcut. When a menu comes up, left-click on properties. at the top of the properties window, click on the compatability tab. Next, click on the check box labeled "run this program in compatability mode for:" and pick the system you have used Sierra Print Artist Platinum on previously. It should function normally.

SOURCE: I have upgraded from XP
It just won't work under Windows 7 . You can try in compatibility mode : right click on the short cut icon and select " troubleshoot compatibility " but the chance is as good as none it will succeed .
So , what's left ?
If you are lucky and because running under W 7 Ultimate , or Professional or Enterprise , you can install a virtual version of Windows XP on your machine from
This is the ultimate solution to ANY compatibility problem. You just use XP mode to let your device run then go back to Win 7 in one clic where your modern processing software is. It's free and uncredibly user's friendly .
Under other versions of Windows 7 , you need to have the XP install disc to install a virtual version with a third party software such as WmWare Player from
