Kobalt 350 impact runs without trigger pressed

Sounds like a problem with the throttle valve.
you will have to remove the air inlet (item# E) then pull the spring out (item# 37) and look to see if you find any foreign objects, if not the proceed to pull the throttle valve (pin cover) (item# 37) and check the seal (item# 34) for wear.
Follow this link for the parts manual:

Cleco 3'4" impact blows air when trigger is pulled and barely turns?

It is difficult to say for sure what the cause is without seeing and hearing this tool running, or attempting to run.
My experience with this tool would lead me to look at the throttle valve first (it's the easiest to get at). Many times the seal becomes rubbery and will block the air flow to the motor. The other likely culprit will be one or more of the rotor blades(vanes) rubbing on an end plate. Gently sand either end of the vane until it is about .001 inch shorter than the rotor. Lastly, rust scale or dirt in the motor will also cause this condition.
This tool has been out of production for many years and parts are no longer readily available.
I hope this helps.

The I.R. 2135Ti or TiMAX has some known issues with the trigger o-ring (item# 22A) swelling, the throttle valve (item# 28D) bending or breaking, and the throttle valve seal (item# 28E) wearing out or deteriorating. Procedure wise you should not be able to remove the trigger without first removing the inlet bushing assembly (item# 26) the reason is that the reverse valve (item# 24) keeps the throttle valve from tipping forward and releasing the trigger, there is a slot for the stem of the throttle valve to slide into.
Follow this link to the parts list:
When reassembling the tool first install the inlet bushing assembly and then install the trigger, make sure to lube the o-ring before inserting.

As soon as the air is connected wrench starts turning. No trigger control. Thanks!

a rubber seal/o-ring is either wore or broke inside or one of the internal components are stuck, do you regularly oil it? put a couple drops of oil in where you connect the air line and let it work itself through with it turning. Might loosen it up

Throttle valve is rotten and tool runs when you plug in the air without pulling trigger

there is a neoprene O ring in the trigger area ,that breaks down ,it needs a service by an air tool repairer ,it is not expensive. dont use wd40 or the like if dont have airtool oil use auto transmission fluid and this wont happen too often

Where is the o-ring for the air intake

The problem is in the trigger valve and is a very common problem with these and other brand, some even do that when new! Most people just live with it but you can dissassemble the gun and try.
