An unknown error interupts the burning of my cd.

I try and burn a cd of 25 songs. Then it gets half-way and it says that an unknown error is going to interrupt the burning of the disk, and then is stops burning. I can never get the songs to burn into the cd. What is the problem?

When i go to burn a cd, it starts to burn then about two songs in it says cancelling disk burn then comes up with a message saying there is an unknown error 4450??

Try to change the speed of burning. Like if you re burning in 32x, make it 16x. If you are burning at 16x then burn it at 8x. Also close other programs while burning a disc.

Thanks for using Fixya!

I get unknown error code 4260 when trying to burn cd

This is a disk error issue make sure if on windows you have the drivers for your CD drive(start>right click computer>click device manager) and also try an different make of blank disk.

TDK maxel and sony disks are notoriously bad on burning..

verbatin and imation disks burn without this error, stick to CD-R or CD+R disks the re-writables are notrious for not writing properly

this may solve your problem hope it helps

Rover 25 CD player wont play MP3 format discs

It sounds like your Rover dosn't have MP3 capabilities. You will have to use standard audio CD format (not data/MP3 format). You will only be able to burn about 15-20 songs but they will play in any cd player.
