Question about HP OfficeJet 7310 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I can send faxes, but cannot receive them. Fax machine rings but will not pickup. Report states poor line quality. Using VOIP. . Changed baud rate to 9600, and turned ECM off..per Brother email. Was using Verizon Voice Wing with no problems, but they are dropping the service. So I went to another service ITP (itpvoip.com). Any suggestions or info would be helpful. Thanks Claude We have a HP Officejet7210 All-in-One, just had Viszon FiOS installed in our home, our fax will send but will not recieve. The line is connected to our home line. Need help???!!!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

This fax speed is 33.6 or 33600
You can change settings to 14.4 or 14400 but not to 9.6 or 9600.
Under: Fax Settings you have this choices:
Speed Dial Setup
Scan and print setup
Header and time
ECM - error correction put this one: off
V.34 - this one is for speed: on - 34400; off - 14400

SOURCE: Sending fax
Iam afraid HP Supports VOIP Services, they always says that we do not assure fax in VOIP Service because it is not analog it is digital they always refer to your service provider
Also you can tried reducing the speed of the fax machine
That is> Press Menu/Setup> then scroll toAdvance Fax setup> Then Fax Speed> then Press Ok> And reduce the speed to Slow and then try.

You need to contact comcast for this issue and get a seperate phone line to which u need to plug in the allinone. This issue may exist most of the Comcast customers.

That might help. Faxing is signal timing specific. I believe they are sent from the factory to run at "fast" which is 33.6kbps. Try to set it to medium first (14.4) if no luck set to Slow (9.6). Try these steps:
