Broken Scroll Wheel on Blackberry 8730c

Is there any way that this part can be replaced?  If so, is it something I can do relatively on the cheap?

You have to take it apart to get to the wheel and replace it with a new one.

The scroll wheel does not scroll down

There is dust or dirt under the wheel. You have to take the ring off and remove it or take it to the wireless carrier who will do it for you.

The ball won't scroll down

Have you removed the ball at any time? If it is put back in wrong, it could cause this. If not, the ball assembly itself might be bad. You can find them fairly cheap on eBay.

Blackberry curve scroll button sticking

I had a similar problem, and the only solution is to change the trackball which cost between $5 & $10 dollars on e-bay. An easy and cheap fix, it comes with the tool to replace the assembly. A kid can do the job

Hi You will need to be in the phone mode. To get there scroll the track wheel to the phone icon and press in on the scroll wheel. When the phone screen is open you can dial a number then press in on the track wheel located on the side of the blackberry and scroll to send and press in on the track wheel to confirm. You will repeat the steps above to open the email program to compose a email and then send the email. I hope this helps Email me if you need more help.
