I need a Vista driver - the XP driver won't install under Vista

I need to install a Verifone 1000se pin pad on a Windows Vista computer, but the only driver that I can find works with XP, but not Vista. Any thoughts?

Plugged new pinpad 1000se into my verifone vx570 according to instructions. Pinpad shows the moving arrow to indicate it is on. When I run a debit, it does not switch over to accept the customer's pin...

The terminal has a setting to tell it whether to use the external or internal pinpad. Yours is still set for internal. Call your merchant services provider and they will change the pinpad setting so that you can use the external PP100SE.

Need help hooking up pin pad

Simply plug the PIN pad cable into the comm port on the back of the terminal marked with a PIN pad symbol. As far as programming, has this PIN pad been injected with the proper encryption key? If you bought it right off the shelf, you will need to send it to your payment services provider for key injection.

The new pinpad 1000se doesn't work while the older version did. What is the difference? Same model #?

The pin pad needs to be encrypted by your merchant account provider. I am assuming you purchased from Online.

Call your provider and you need to send it for an encryption cannot be done over a dial or ethernet download. Once you receive the Pin Pad back make sure the power is completely off before plugging in peripherals especially Pin Pads for it will blow out that encryption.

Call me if you need clarification.

Where can i get device driver's for NURIT 293

Hello,

That pinpad does not have drivers associated with the unit. The unit will only work with a credit card terminal IE: Nurit 28xx, 30xx, 80xx and also software developed specifically for the pin pad to work. You can only use that pin pad with a 9Pin serial cable to pc.

PINpad 1000se not working

When you power on the terminal, is the pin pad also powered on? If it is not powering on the pin pad, you might have an issue with the pin pad. If it is powering on and it's still not detecting it, it might but that you are using the incorrect cords or the programming is blown on the pin pad. You will have to contact your processor to see if they would be able to reprogram your pin pad if that is the case.

Vista Driver for JVC Camcorder GR-DV900

Hi,
Unfortunatley your answer is within your question, in which you say it only came with Driver Support for Win 98, 2000 & XP, basically meaning that your Camcorder is not compatible with Windows Vista.
The only 3 Possible choices you have are to

1. Use a friend's PC who has XP installed, and Transfer the Files through using their System.

2. Remove Windows Vista, and Install Windows XP

or

3. Wait until your Camcorder is supported by Windows Vista.

I seriously should not wait for Option 3 though, as I've had a Philips Webcam for over 2-3 yrs now, and is still not supported by Windows Vista.

The Verifone 1000se uses a special serial cable that also has to provide power to the device. It does not use either ethernet nor usb.

You need to have the correct keys loaded into the pinpad. If you got the pinpad from some place other than from your processor, you are out of luck. They will only load the keys when the pinpad is physically in their possession.
