Question about Crunch GP1100.2 GroundPounder 1100W 1/2 Channel Amp Car Audio Amplifier
I have a Crunch GP1100.2 amp hooked up to 2 Audiobahn subs. About a month ago, my Blazer was flooded from flash floods and the bottom inch of my amp got wet. I am running a red top optima battery under the hood and a yellow top battery for my stereo system. Recently, I replaced the red top battery with a regular car battery. Now, my amp or subs won't come on. Would this be due to the amp getting wet, or would it be due to me changing the red top battery with a regular car battery? I was told that since I changed the battery that the amp would need reprogrammed. Is this the case? I was thinking that the regular car battery might not be powerful enough to run the motor and the yellow top. Could this be the case? Please, let me know. Thanks!
NO if your amp is good any battery will turn it on. changing batterys does not require a reprogram?. id say amp is damaged from being wet. test to see if power is going in and out if nothing out bad amp..
