Question about Dell W4200 42 in. HD-Ready Plasma Television
Upon turning ON the tv, the blue Dell logo appears completely and starts almost immediately to fade away... and the picture becomes dark, as if it is OFF. The sound is normal, as I manually change the channels, it changes to that channel's sound.
Cannot use any of the Menu features, like to change to DVD or CD because nothing appears on screen. The tv is on the supplied stand and I use long range outside antenna for reception. No Cable service used. I have the tv for 2 years.
The problem started when watching tv, heard a low noise pop and suddenly the picture disappeared.
Checked with tv repair shop around here, it is very expensive for me at this point, so any help I can get that will help me do by myself, like where to get the replacement parts, would be appreciated.
If you could give me the completed model number, that would be great.
This will help me grab the schematics to help a bit more.

That also means that either the X-sus, Y-sus or the Z-sus circuit boards isn't powering up the TV screen pixels....I doubt the power supply is faulty since you do get sound, unless u are a qualified TV technician you will need to have this repaired at a shop.

Tips for a great answer:

Feb 22, 2013 | Dell OptiPlex 360 Desktop Computer
Sep 21, 2011 | RCA F32689 32" TV
During the boot process, a blue bar with www.dell.com appears at the top of the screen.
If you do not press in time, let the computer finish starting, and then restart the computer again.
NOTICE: If you do not want to proceed with PC Restore, click Reboot in the following step.
The restore process takes approximately 6-10 minutes to complete.
The computer restarts. Because the computer is
restored to its original operating state, the screens that appear, such
as the End User License Agreement, are the same ones that appeared the
first time the computer was turned on.
