Question about GE Wireless Optical Mouse
My 97990 wireless mouse will not work. it worked for a week and the i tried it on another computer and it would not work so i plugged it back in to the original computer and it still will not work.
When the receiver is unplugged from pc or mouse batteries are changed, the receiver and the mouse may need to be "re-linked". Remember that this is a RF, not an IR, link and uses hundreds of codes to connect. When it looses its power, it can loose its code memory.
Use this link to see my re-linking info:
Altho wireless mice and keyboards seem like a good thing, after using many types, I have given up on the dam things. They are more of a problem than a solution, if only due to the battery situation.
