Question about Fuji GA-645Zi Medium Format Camera

Open Question

I have lost parts of my Fuji GA645zi viewfinder -

...and cannot get a spare part at Fuji's authorized service in Germany. The viewfinder just broke off when I pulled the camera out of my carrying case, and, unnoticed, one of these tiny lenses disappeared. Actually it is just one of the (plastic) lenses of the viewfinder optical system which is lacking - but I would be happy to buy a complete, used but workable finder. For a reasonable price I would even buy a broken heap of scrap camera - with the viewfinder intact. Or a repair manual for this camera to find out exactly which little lens I need.... Any suggestions?

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: Fuji FinePix S3500 dropped - broken mode switch

There is a camera guy on e-bay his name is"darntoothysam" he repairs cameras and may have the parts. I had a sony V1 and got an LCD from him. Hes been doing it for a while and has alot of parts. Do a google search or try and contact him threw e-bay. I know he has a website but im not sure the address. I know hes REALLY reasonable though. If all else fails people buy broken cameras on e-bay you could get some of your money back for a replacement. I doubt fuji will have the parts unless its REALLY common. Might try and contact them first. I like fuji, one of my favorite camera brands next to cannon. You might wana search e-bay for a couple weeks see if you can get one like yours thats dead maybe salvage parts from it? could build one good one from 2 if its cheap enough.

SOURCE: fuji finepix f50 camera was

Unfortunately dropping this model, and the f40, 45, 47 fd models, is suicidal for the camera. The lens has an inner slide ring which other models do not have and this ring has three lugs to keep the lens from spinning when powered up and used. Unfortunately these lugs are also clips which hold the focus lens inplace. These are tiny. hard to repair

That's an old camera so unless you can find a used one to use for parts it's going to be difficult to get it repaird.

The shutter-button on my Fujica ST 605N has losened.

Well, first - your Fuji is a 120 not 35mm camera and second, it is a range finder not SLR. But other than that, there maybe a shutter release lock on your release button that is worn. I'd say take it to a repair shop. These are the kinds of cameras that repairman can still fix. And it is well worth fixing properly. Good luck.

My fujifilm s700 takes pictures but the lcd screen is busted.. you can see the pictures and screen through the eye piece.. but thats it. What should i do?

The only thing you can do is take or send the camera to an AUTHORIZED service center for replacement of the LCD screen. If you can live with just using the viewfinder, like in the old days, the LCD being broken should not effect the camera operation. Set the selection to the EVF (electronic view finder) position and this will stop the LCD screen from coming on. If this has helped, please rate it accordingly. Thanks and good luck. (BTW: I LOVE my Fuji S700)

Air filter lid latch broke

The company went under and doesn't service them anymore. It's possible you could find a local repair place that might be able to do something, but there is no authorized or trained service station, and you can't get parts.

You might be able to pick up spare parts if you scour eBay long enough.

Good luck!

Fuji S5800 spare parts

I would see if Fuji would let you send it in direct to them. Alternatively search on ebay for spares or repair camera that you could take the pieces off of.

Good Luck.

I need to purchase spare parts

This type of repair is best performed by a professional service technician. You will need to find someone who is authorized Fuji service in order for them to get the parts, as Fuji will not sell them directly to the general public. Sorry I cant offer anything better, bummer about the camera :(

LCD screen and Viewfinder not functioning

there is probably a problem with the connection between the sensor and the displays, I would send it back to Fuji for repairs, because it would be almost certain death for your camera for someone who does not have the machinary and clean room to service the camera to try to fix it
