Question about GE WSXH208A Front Load Washer
My front load washer is stopping mid cycle. It unlocks, and the pause/start button flashes. It restarts when you push start, but if I am not home it does not complete the cycle. I have tried unplugging the unit to reset it, but it is still happening. It also seems to not be spinnign out the clothes as well, more times than not I am running the spin/rinse cycle to get out excess water. Anyone know why I am having these problems? Thanks

water pump blocked with nylon stuffing from old pillow.removed front panel from hinges under the lid. water pump at the right hand corner removed hose then removed 2 cups of nylon threads and stuffing forced into pumps small openings where it was compacted to a solid mass.

Are you using He deturgent?
If not this is the problem.
to remove the suds from the pump now you will have to put one tsp of oil in where you put powders at and run cycle on normal and then see what you get. if this dont work let me know and we will go from their.

It sounds like your drain pump is going. Neptunes are suppose to neqarly dry the clothes with how fast it spins. A poor drain pump/motor, could cause this to be less effective. There could also be something in the drain lines. I would check that before you pay money on a pump though.

Similar problem fixed in less than 5 minutes. Here's a post that was very helpful. http://www.foobert.com/blog/2007/04/02/ge-adora-front-loading-washer-does-not-drain/
There's a trap located under the front panel (3 screws) I undid the filter and pulled out 21 coins, 2 buttons, a 'letter h', zipper parts, a broach, and a whole lot of lint.
My wife said that the unit never got the clothes so dry afterwords, she said the almost didnt need to throw the clothes in the dryer.
NOTE: Have a ton of towels ready, and if you can fit a bucket or dish under the filter, go slow and steady. I opened it up and had several gallons all over the floor!
