Question about Toshiba Satellite M45-S2653 Notebook
I have a Toshiba Satellite M45-S2653, and for some reason when we go to start>shutdown it will not shut down it just sets there for 1 to 3 hrs then we have to hold the power button down for it to shut off, what could be the problem?
Check the "Power" option in "Control Panel".
The ON/OFF can be programmed to either put the computer to "sleep" (by touching it once), or to immediately shutdown Windows (by touching it once), or to require that you HOLD the button down for 3 to 4 seconds, to REALLY confirm that you want to shutdown.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
