i am wanting to play a game
but whenever i start it a message comes out
not enough video memory.
plz help me
my friend have the same pc and same ram but the game is working in his pc
we r having
Most people that play high powered games have more ram in their memory card than you have in your whole system. Your friend probably has 1 less program installed when windows boots up so that he has a little more system resourses available that let's the system use a little more ram for your video card. The video card in your notebook is probably sharing the system ram of 512mb. The operating system needs a lot of that ram to run. If you have a program like a virus program, reminder program, printer update program that starts automatically when windows starts it will use some of that system ram and make less available to the computer and the video explaining why yours won't run and your friend's will.
Most gamers playing these high powered games have a minimum of 2 gigabytes of ram and video cards with 512 to 756 megs of ram as well as their own cpu's.

Restart your computer and your friend's computer, at the same time. Press <DEL> to enter BIOS-setup on each computer.
Do both computers show _exactly_ the same amount of RAM?
One BIOS-setting may allow you to "dedicate" some of the RAM to be used for "video-memory". Do both computers show the same amount of "dedicated" RAM?
