Question about Kenmore Elite 45986 Front Load Washer
I looked and the whole boot is NOT attached to the washer side at all! It is fully attached to the front. There are no tears in the boot either. Can i fix this myself?? or is this repair too difficuilt??
I followed the instructions on how to replace the boot from your website. When i got in there i realized that the metal clamp holding the boot secure to the outer drum area had come lose...so i just reattached the boot around the outer edge of the drum and tightened the metal clamp and put in all back together again. I have NO LEAKS! and i didnt even have to replace any parts!!
