there's an internal hardware problem in your monitor - cold soldered / defective electronic part/s. I suggest to bring the unit to an authorized service center for proper diagnosis & fix the problem. best regards

Right click on your desktop, go to properties, and navigate to the settings tab. There, try to set the monitors resolution to the largest available. That should fix your problem. If it doesn't just try some other resolutions until ou find one that works. I hope this helps, Yannick.

Auto adjustment in progress keeps popping up

Try turning down the brightness on the monitor, sometimes this will fix the issue, if not the problem is in the inverter board and needs a professional to assess it further.

My HP w1907 won't stop popping up 'Auto Adjustment in Progress'

Something seems to be triggering it to restart, these are some of the things you can try. Make sure your video cable and power cord are secure on both ends. If you have video card make sure it is secure in its socket. Try plugging the power cord into a different outlet. Try it on another computer if possible. If you find nothing with these ideas I would send it back if it is under warranty the power supply seems to be dropping out.
