Question about Refrigerators
I have a side by side Kenmore refrigerator , Model no. 51564101, Serial no. 3864102 purchased on 10/27/01 from Sears. I have water on the floor in front of the refrigerator every two or three days and I cannot find a leak with any hoses so I think it is coming from the defrost unit but I cannot find where the water comes from the defrost unit that should go into the drain pan. There is never any water in the drain pan. It is not leaking from the ice maker nor the water fountain. Any suggestions to solve my problem? Will a technician know how to fix it? Please help.
Your problem is most likely a clogged drain line. Which is located in the back bottom of the freezer a little hole. Run some hot water down it with a spray bottom and it should resolve your issue. Also yes a Tech will be able to fix this problem
