Hi, I already have a Sony DAV-DZ840 (1000 W) DVD home theater system. Some how I am not much happy with the sound after hearing Yamaha amps performance. I want to know if I can attach the Yamaha amplifier to my Sony home theater system and will it make a significant difference in the performance?

The impedance will be to low for this amp.

all you need is one set of the red and white rca cables.your tv should have an audio output with a red and white hole.plug in red and white wires to those holes at the back or side of your tv.plug the other end to your auxilary red and white holes at the back of the stereo....if your stereo doesnt have aux holes then you can plug into L.d.,VIDEO outputs at back of stereo.you then turn your select button,nob on your stereo to either the aux,ld or video.hope this helps

'Splitting' leads is never the best way to distribute a signal. The best solution is to use the parallel inputs of the Yamahas to chain them together: mixer to amp1, amp1 to amp2, amp 2 to the Cloud. You should only need to use one input on the Cloud to drive all the channels, using the input switches at the rear.
