Hi, Remove the rear inside panel of the freezer and locate the drain hole under the evaporator coils.
Use a hair dryer and melt the ice. Make sure and get the ice out of the drain hole as well.
After the ice is removed, be sure and flush the drain hole with hot water. A baisting surenge works great for the flush.
I hope this helps you. If I can assist you further, please let me know.

Ice dispenser turns on randomly. It has done this 3 times during the past hour. Can this be easily solved? If not, can the the freezer alone be turned off?

Hey Dunstin, thank you for your inquiry!
From what you have described your Frigidaire refrigerator is dispensing ice at random times. This could be a miscommunication within the control panel and I would recommend performing a reset. You can reset your refrigerator by disconnecting power from it for at least ten minutes. If you continue to experience an issue with your ice dispenser I would suggest contacting a professional technician for proper assistance with repairs. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

Ice build up on floor of freezer. can't figure where it is coming from. There is not a drain on bottom panel. Any suggestiuons? Frigidaire model no AFU2067BWL2

I know that your freezer shows a drain in its floor but there is also a drain behind the rear wall and at the bottom of a tray that collects the water during defrost and is surposed to drain that water that comes during defrost and then drains to a pan below the refrigerator and next to compressor. The solution will be to clean out this drain that is hidden from site behind the rear wall. I am pretty sure you are having a defrost drain blockage problem. Most defrost every eight hours and over a period of time the drain line that comes down from freezer into a cup like object top middle and back of the fresh food section. If blocked by gunk or ice you will see trails of liquid leaking down the rear wall of fresh food compartment until it reaches the crisper drawers.This is not always the same with every model as you may see frozen ice flowing down ther rear wall of freezers on side by sides. Here is an example Click here=> Whirlpool Leak Photo taken by TechnicianBrian He has been around a good bit and deserves credit for his contributions. Here is another way to make this look more si mple in clip below. TechnicianBrian.com And in this photo are several parts listed in photo group #1 were it is most likely running down the wall=> MagicChef CTB1921AR fresh food section. If you still have questions please ask and rate me if I was able to explain this well enough. Every refrigerator is made different so these are examples only. The key is to find if ice or just gunk has blocked you defrost drain. Unplug and then remove the rear panel in back of freezer. We need to see if the water is overflowing the condensate drain tray or if the blockage is in the turn the drain leads down back of your refrigerator. Much more on this page=> Leaking Refrigerators! This is a common tip so I will be placing this post and add as we go new ideas listed in Sea Breeze Tips Section. If you run into any problems along the way of repair please let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Ice forms in bottom of freezer on frigidaire

dependant on appliance you may have a small drain hose at the base of the appliance that drains the defrosted water away at regular intervals. Sometimes this blocks and the water that should drain away just starts to freeze over.

Leeking water inside fridge from top

Defrost drain is clogged. This accessable thru the back wall of the freezer. Also depending on your model some also have removable Bottom floors of freezer that also get ice accumulation. When the defrost drain gets clogged water from the defrost cycle has no where to go so it stays and accumulates ice till eventually it leaks into the fresh food section. Clear the drain completly and you will have no more problems.

Ice build-up

Defected DEFROST HEATER can cause frost build up on the panel at the back of the freezer,and freezer stop cooling and ice frozen on unit so air could not flow to refrigerator side.Water will coming out caused of unbalanced freezing,and causing the flooding of water in the floor. You must change this defroster heater assembly so it will works normal again..

Hope this may help;
