Batteries all powered up, pull the trigger and ...nothing. Trigger was hard to pull, when unstuck, drill wouldn't operate from that point forward. Any quick fix??
I have the same problem of no trigger movement after I picked up my 691220 Kawasaki 21.6V drill from my son's house. I am an industrial engineer and problem solver. I decided because I was attached to this drill that I would disassemble the drill and fix the stuck trigger/switch. After figuring how to disassemble the drill housing I found that the trigger/switch had shorted and melted the switch housing putting the trigger in a bind. The only fix will be to replace the switch assembly. I will call the Service number 1-800-590-3723 and determine if they will send me the switch/trigger assembly 13MAR2009. Reading the other posts I am surprised there has not been a recall on the drill and not just some of the chargers. Tim Lechtenberg lechtet@yahoo.com Anyone had any luck getting their kawasaki 19.2v drill replaced and/or repaired thru the manifacturer at no cost.
I will go one further, they had a recall of their batteries which could have led to your problem back in 2007 and the chargers on some of them also. I would again call the number and give them the date codes from both and then try again at getting it replaced. Their are a lot of posts online for this to be a simple occurence, The battery could have shorted internally causing the switch to melt and there would be a potential for user injury also. Let me know if you find anything out and if you have there web address I would be interested.

I need to look at a manual for Makita HR2510 Rotory hammer I think I need to add oil but Im not sure where to put it. Theres a sign on it, a red circle with line through, telling me not put in top port which looks like the obvious place, hence sign.

screwed 75 2 1/2 inch deck screws worked great, came back the next morning and zip doesn't work.... called the service number he said I over worked the drill and burnt the trigger up. sounds like bs to me but he said they would send a new trigger out for $15.00. does it pay to fix a problem of theirs????
