My generator is approx, 20 months old and has less than 100 hours. I drain it at the end of the huricanne season and I start it with fresh gas at the beginning of the season. Monthly, I run it for at least an hour with a load approx. 30 minutes during that hour. This year, it cranks but will not start. I put new plugs in and I've checked to make sure that gas is flowing to the pump. I'm at a lost.

I am not sure if this was answered already. However, good to know the following. When i purchased my chainsaw I was told a few words of wisdon. At the end of the season and when your chainsaw is going on the shelf for several months, crank it up, run it a couple of minutes and then shut it off. Then drain all the gas out of it and then crank it up again and open up the throttle. It will run 5-15 seconds and then die out on you. That is good! What you did is remove all the gas/oil out of your chainsaw for storage. I was told, that if I do this, I would never have trouble starting it up. That was 13 years ago and I add new fuel at the start of the season and it cranks up, each and every time!. At this point, I would go with the easy solution to drain all your fuel and put an new spark plug in, add fuel and see if this helps
Did you drain the gas from last year? Gas is only good for a few Months. You should always run the machine dry at the end of the season or add Fuel Stabilizer at the end of the season. Id start by getting all the old gas out of the tank and the fuel Bowl on the carburetor. You will also want to check for spark. to make sure there are no electrical issues. Check oil level also. Depending on machine it may not start if oil level is to low alot of machines have a oil pressure switch.
That is certainly fuel related. This may be due to (1) a clogged fuel filter, (2) restriction in the pick up or (3) an improperly vented fuel cap.
Change the fuel filter. Completely drain and clean all fuel lines. Check the tank pick up for blockage. Completely drain, clean and refill tank with fresh gasoline.
Make sure air filter is clean.
If none of these steps are successful, then I would suspect the carburetor.

DUDE- I have played 09 on xbox 360 through 4 seasons three different times with liverpool and each time the same thing happens. it happened to me a 4th time last night. so today i came up with the resolve to solve it. AND I DID!!! basically, if you conduct contract negotiations after the league season is over but you are still playing UEFA/ECC games it will 100% crash your game once you get into the next season once the trade season begins. If this happens it will corrupt your save file permanently destroying the future integrity of the game, like a digital Russian Roulette. To be sure this doesnt happen to your team's save file, keep a back up file safe that you won't adjust right before the season ends. at the end of the season a contract negotiation screen comes up. you need to make sure that when you go to the contract negotiation screen everyone listed on your team who has less than 12 months left on their contract is listed with "the computers" offer to be resigned, therefore extending their own contract based on their terms. you will see all sorts of wild offers, especially if you have been under paying your players. As per the Bosman ruling these guys are treated as free agents during the transfer window, so the game is modeling REAL life. However, if you sign them after the season is over but while you are still playing euro competitions then this will corrupt the save file for free agents. This crashes the game, maybe perhaps because some other team is trying to sign that "Bosman ruling" player on the computers own terms, but he improperly still belongs to your club for less than 12 months. WOOOOOT gonna play another 4 seasons. pass this on. Keep backup saved files at the mid point between transfer windows and right before the regular season games end based on your schedule. ENJOY!!!
Just noticed your question... If you still need a little help: 1. If the gas is from last year, drain the tank and the carb bowl and replace gas with new. Visually inspect the inside of the tank ..be sure there's no sediment that needs to be cleaned out. 2. remove air cleaner and make sure it's not plugged or dirty 3. plug the spark plug and clean with spray carb cleaner. 4. At end of season, mix some gas stablizer in with the fuel to keep it from going bad while in storage.
