After clearing a paper jam, I put the paper tray back in and when the printer resets, I get a grinding of gears on the left side. I thought I had to do with damage to my toner/drum, so I replaced both with new units and when I turn it on, the same grinding noise. It sounds like it is trying to cycle through but gears are stuck? I am having the same problem, I read through other troubleshooting solutions and tried not only unplugging the device but unplugging the USB cord also, when I do that and turn it back on, the status light is green and the drum light flashes. Then once I try to print the grinding noise starts, nothing prints and the status light turns red and the paper light flashes. So I don't know if I'm having trouble with the drum, or something else. There is no paper stuck I have taken apart everything I can and checked and cleaned everything!

I changed my HL-5250DN from local USB to Ethernet on my DI-604 router. I cannot print from Wordperfect X4, SP2. I receive this msg. "The document page is set to a paper size (letter) that is not supported by thid printer driver. Do you want to match to the closest printer defined paper size (Organizer M)?" I have reloaded Word perfect and the drivers from the Printer CD. Each made no change. I can print from any text editor and from MS Word 2003. Can you help me please?
