Problem for Canon EOS-5D Digital Camera
Focus lock no longer working when half press button
I use the focus lock by half pressing the button and then re composing the shot - when I last used my camera it stopped working and thought it might be the lens causing the problem but when I changed to a different lens it still wouldn't work - has anyone else had this - is it easily fixed or an expensive repair? - it is out of warranty now but I need to get it sorted quickly

HI there,
for clarification: did you reset the setting of your camera?? try to remove the battery for an 1hour to self reset the camera..
if the above info did not solve the issue this fucos lock button is the problem. it is easily to fix, it can be reapirable or replace the lock button.. got no idea on the labor and part costing on your area but better to inquire it first to the nearest canon service center.
