I believe you hit F10 key to enter bios. Go to the advanced menu and select boot options. You can select in there what order the computer tries to boot from different options. You need to select boot from CD and put it in sequence before the hard drive. Most bios versions well give you a first, second, third boot device and so on. Set first device to CD rom, second to Hard drive 0, third to none unless you use a floppy drive to boot from (rare).

Hello Sir;

You can write any Data to the CD by two ways.
* By Sending the Data to the CDROM Drive
* By using some CD Burning Software

* By Sending the Data to the CDROM Drive
1. Just Select and Right Click the Data that you need.
2. You get a small menu and choose Send to Option and select your
CDROM Drive.
3. After the file is sent get into the CDROM Drive in My Computer and
select the option Write these files to CD from the left side pane on
first option.
Your done.

Disabled the video card so not the Compaq Evo N600c will not boot


While booting press F8 and pick the option "enable VGA Mode"

This shoud get you back to a place to re-enable the video. Also what wehre you trying to fix by disabling the video?

Reboot


You can insert the OS installation CD and hit F11 or F12 to get to the boot menu. The you can wipe out your hard drive and put a fresh copy of windows on it.
