Memory full on LG Renoir but nothing on phone, Help ???

My memory keeps saying that its full, i cant put a wallpaper on or send any pictures. See ive tried moving everything from my internal memory to external memory but yet when i delete all from my internal it still says that my memory is full and using all 169M when i have no pictures, no music or anything on my internal. When i go into memory manager and go into user memory to see what is actually being taken up and how much by, yet it says 88670 kb is being taken up in others and 5263 kb in java but yet nothing is in them. Also when i press clear to see if it will take it all away it says that 100% is cleared but yet when i turn the phone off and on again it all still there. Please can someone help me?????????? Exactly the same here!! Anyone found a solution yet?

Why does my lg reniour say memory full when i try and change my wallpaper?

hi, if you go to phone settings>memory manager>handset common memory you will probably find it is full or nearly full, most of that being used by 'others'. You won't be able to edit photo's, use them as wallpaper, send or recieve mms or e-mails and probably other stuff too while your memory is full.

You can try to 'clear all' here and see if that works, but if not as with my two, try going to browser settings and pressing reset settings. it took ages on mine and i thought it had frozen but when it eventually finished I had 69% free on both phones and everything worked fine again.

Make sure you are using a memory cad too and that the primary storage is set to external....just in case!

Memory problem with LG Renoir

maybe the case is that the default place for saving files on the device is set to the external card. if this is the case, which caused me similer problems on my renoir, try to set the default place for saving files on the Handset memory instead of on the external card. (the memory issue is not spacwise but cpuwise) to do that u need: Menu> Setttings> Phone settings> Memory manager> Primary storage setting> Handset memory
enjoy.

My renoir doesnt let me change the wall paper

Try this...

Close all active application to free up memory.

To close all open applications: press the white hard key (in the middle of the red and green), and you customisable menu appears. At the top of the screen is a grey tab with a dark grey triangle (like a play button), press this and you see all (if any phone application are open), press the end all button on the screen. Then to confirm action pres yes to stop all tasks.

The go to your desire image, (on you memory card or on the phone memory), open image. Then press the menu button at the top left of the screen (looks like a square with three lines in it). Menu will open and then choose 'Use As'. A sub menu appears and choose 'Main Screen Theme'. Hopefully you should get your image on as wallpaper, but it may take a few seconds to react.

KC910 can be sooo slowww at times.

My renoir says memory full.

I had this problem with two Renoirs and finally managed to fix it yesterday after months and months!

I went into browser settings and hit reset settings. I took ages and I thought it had frozen but when it finally finished I had 69% free in common memory!

That worked on both my phones so might be worth a try.
Good luck
