Question about Canon PowerShot A630 Digital Camera
I have a Canon Powershot A630 and it will only take dark photos in auto mode. It seems other owners have had this problem too. Does anyone know of a simple solution yet? or is it a big repair job, in which case better to buy another camera? Would be grateful for any advice.
Could it have something to do with "white balance"? http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=145&modelid=14108#SupportDetailAct
When the shooting mode is set to (Auto), the white balance will be applied automatically. However, with the (Auto) mode, the camera may not reproduce the natural color of the subject.
If this don't help, try their website and see if you can troubleshoot it. http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=145&modelid=14108#SupportDetailAct
If all fails, buy a newer Canon Powershot. I've tried the newer models and they seem good.
