I would go inside the devices and printers and preferences and see if there are any documents pending. Erase those. Check with your little icon on the desktop and check printer status or you could even go to the extreme of deleting canon in add and remove and reinstall from the canon website. Obviously with windows 7 if you just plug in you will get driver installed but printer runs much more smoothly if you first download the software package from canon.com and then link up wirelessly.
But first check that a document isn't pending printing.
With the printer power on, unplug and then plug in the printer from/to the computer. This should force the printer to be reinstalled.
Check the printer status.
Click START>Control Panel>Devices and Printers>click on your printer. check the status for any error messages. On the printer status, delete all pending jobs. Once the printer status display shows that all pending jobs have been deleted, retry printing.
Let me know if printing is reestablished. Thanks.
please check the printer connection to your pc .... open printer and faxes check your printer status ..( it should be ready ) and cancel all the document are in pending ........ reinstall the printer driver and check ...... please replace your printer data cable and check ...if its still not working its may have problem with your printer connector ......... Best of luck
open the printer and faxes the double click on the printer driver and cancel the all pending document ....... and check the printer status ......... if is it in ready means only you can take print ......
for any clarification please post your comment ....
The first thing we can try here is checking the status of the printer in the control panel in the Printers and faxes. Go to start->control panel-->printers and faxes now check if you see the Epson printer
If its greyed out,its the prob with the connectivity, check the status ,if it says offline bring it online by doing a right click on the printer icon and selecting Use Printer Online also check if there are any pending documents in the queue, cancel the pending documents by right clicking and choosing the Cancel All Documents.
to check the driver status Goto->start->run->(type in the box) devmgmt.msc this should open up the device manager check the printer entry, if it has a yellow exclamation mark do a right click on the entry and try updating the drivers else unplug the usb cable from the rear of the computer and uninstall/reinstall the drivers by following the instructions on the cd
I think your there is a pending command to print, even if you have turned your printer on and off, it will print already because the pending printed papers in your computer is automatically printed, you need to check the printer status in your computer. just click start then all programs, then click printers and fax, now you can see now the printer icon just double click that, if you can see a pending printed, just right click and cancel, if you can not see the pending you printed document, you need to restart your computer so that all the pending command will turn out.
Try to check the queue of the printer. try cancelling the documents pending and make sure printer status on printers and faxes is ready. keep us posted.
- go to printers folder then check the status of your printer - if it is offline, right click the icon and select use printer online...
- check if there is pending documents becuase printer wont print if there is pending document in queue- to clear the pending docs. right click the icon and select cancel pending document
- printer OJ 5610 icon should be in ready status, no pending documents, and the icon has a checkmark as as default printer...
First we need to know how the printer is connected to the computer. Try to print from the front panel of the all-in-one and confirm whether the hardware is working properly or not. If you are able to print from the front panel, then check the printer icon in control panel, if the status of the printer icon is 0 ready status then try to print, if it is not clear all the pending documents and try to print. If it is in network, then we need to configure the port.
We will experience this issue if the documents are pending on the printer icon or if the printer icon is paused. Check the status of the printer icon in control panel and clear all the pending documents and make it online if it is offline and then try to print.
