When you hold the button down to get to the power off window, keep holding the button down til the screen goes black and it reboots. If that doesn't work, try taking your battery and sim card out of your phone , put them back in and turn phone on......
Go to Settings Select Apps->All (Look for ALL on top menu or swipe to the right to get to ALL) Select Google Services Framework and tap Clear Data. Turn off (shut down) your phone and turn it back on. See if the phone will be out of Safe Mode.
Hi Greg ,
when you first boot up the laptop , press both the escape button and the F12 ,or F10 or F8 8 buttons , if F12 doesn't work try rebooting and hit the esc. button and F10 and so on , one of these will work Good Luck Roy
Ok, give this a go.
Start the computer in safe mode as per last time.
This time go into the system properties.
Start - Control Panel - System
Select Device Manager
Find the Display Controllers
Uninstall the card
Restart the computer.
Failing this, download the drivers from the website that your motherboard is from. (If you give me a model number I should be able to loacte it) or goto thew S3 site and get them directly from there.
Start up in safe mode again, install those drivers. and restart.
If you can't find a way to transfer the drivers from the PC you are on to the PC that is not playing nice, then start it up using Safe Mode with Network Support.
