This is how the problem manifests itself now: - When I picked up the car from dealer two days ago at the border the AC was not at first ice-cold, but after a short while it got ice-cold. - I drove for 90...

Check to see if there is a thermometer built in to the ac controler. It could be dirty dusty or defective. Also check ac fans to make sure one or both are working well and check ac pressure to make sure you have enough freon.

Where is the 2000 pontiac montana ac mixer

The air temperature control blend door (mixes hot and cold air) I think you refer to is located deep inside the cars heater and AC air duct work. To repeat it you must remove the dash from the car, a job not for home mechanic in most cases. Time to do at home about 12-14 hours

Not getting cold

if no air conditioning on car, probably needs refilling of freeon gas in AC system: this can be done by a garage.

If in a home, same thing, but it may be cheaper to just buy a new AC from Walmart.

Heat blows out driver vent when ac on

this problem is caused by a defective air temperature control blend door actuator motor, it is about center of dadsh in air ducting, it moves the door that diverts air for cold from ac or hot from heater, you must remove the dash to repace it, about a 15 hour job fotr a home mechanic with a factory repair manual, nearly imposs without one.

A/c doesn't get cold anymore

usually means your as unit has lost its charge and can not effectivly cool your home anymore..advise to call a certified ac find , repair and charge your units.( but in some cases a "starter relay that sits on top of the ac compressor has gone bad..this holds true to fridges also

Home AC Air Handler is making Annoying clicking sounds randomly

It sounds like the problem is with the louvre swing motor which is either opening or closing the louvre but not stopping at the end. This is due to a faulty intergrated circiut (IC) programmable chip on the PC board. Only way to get around it is to replace the board.
