Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100
My Blackberry pearl 8100 is doing multiple strange things.
There are 3 major problems:
1) The blackberry is stuck on lock. Clicked the trackball, it did not respond in anyway, not even displaying the "Keypad is locked" message. Tried to power off, but the phone did not respond. The screen will go to black (like when you go too long without pressing a button) but then flash back on without me pressing anything or rolling the trackball.
2) After multiple battery pulls, I finally got it to unlock and enter the main screen. Now, however, anytime the trackball is clicked, the camera inexplicably turns itself on. I can back out of the camera, but anytime i try to do anything (use an application, read a message) the camera turns back on.
3) After even more battery pulls, a new problem occured. After rebooting, the camera will immediately turn on, and stay on. No button will turn it off. After a few minutes, a message will come up that resembles the save picture prompt, but it says the file system is full. The phone is now stuck on this message. Sometimes it will take a picture all by itself.
After multiple battery pulls and troubleshooting attempts, the phone continues to cycle through these 3 problems. I have almost 30 unread messages (at last estimate) and I need my phone to be back in working order wery badly.
Please, please help ASAP!

I think the easiest way to resolve as many of these issues is by resetting your blackberry.
Hold down ALT+RIGHT SHIFT(CAP)+DELETE keys - I'm not 100% sure this works on your model but it is soft reset.
Go into Options, then select Security Options, then select General Settings, then activate the BlackBerry menu and select the option to wipe the device - Will reset all your personalised settings to default

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
