Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H5 Digital Camera
I was taking a picture and the silver button to take the picture popped off. My camera has never fallen, have taken very good care of it. Called Sony and missed the warranty by 2 months. I can't find a repair center to fix it and Sony wants to charge me 181.00 to get it fixed. What can I do? Same as the others. We take good care of our camera and the button popped off. I'm curious if mad_daddy or anyone else has been able to fix this themselves. My duct-tape based repair has been working for awhile, but the wife doesn't like the new look.
If you do a search for "sony h2 shutter button replacement" on
Google.com you will find a shop that sells both the shutter button and
a repair service to install the shutter as well.
Hope this helps!
