Usable also with OS X?

Yea, that happens.. it's a microsoft product...;-(
simlply restart your mac in safe boot mode ( hold down the shift button immediately upon hearind the startup sound... hold until you see a progress bar under the Apple Logo ) you will be able to login and re-install QuickSilver.. should do the trick..
then restart normally

Hey Malcolm, just bought this watch so I hope it is the same. Press the MODE button (bottom left) until you get AL. Then press the STAR/LAP (top left) this gives you the options of turning it off : ON with Alarm or ON with Alarm and CHM (I think this is the hourly chim) or OFF. (Located above the Quicksilver brand mark) Hope this helps!

The video processor no longer operates - the lines are caused by the simple operation of the timer clock of the processor. The card is dead and you must replace it.

I recently aquired a 1982 Merc Bigfoot 60hp with a quicksilver throttle control. I am trying to find a manual as to the throttle operation. Any suggestions?

This report matches no common failure mode of the Quicksilver.
With power cord disconnected, test the internal battery voltage. If it is below 3.3V, it needs replacement. After replacing, you MUST reset the PMU by pushing the PMU button (located near the battery) ONCE. Then retry the startup.
If this does not solve your problem, you will need to bring your unit to an Apple-qualified tech for diagnosis.

unstable OS...clean registry...use any registry cleaner...

alright get it to safe mode, then go to system restore and undo the last thing you did on the computer, everything will be fine. good luck

Well small OS doesnt not mean a Usable OS (as far as modern standards are concerned)

The smallest OS's are of course, DOS, windows 3.1, OS2, Windows 95 and Linux (due to its modular design it is very scalable)

However the average person is not going to be able to do much on these operating systems, the only small OS that is really usuable is Linux but requires a great deal of time investment to learn and use.

Windows XP is your best bet for a modern OS that will allow you to do everything (multimedia, games, entertainment and software compatability)

However i wouldent call windows XP a small os, just smaller then vista.
