I am a pc tech and of course i can only listen to you and give advice and things to do to determine the source of the issue, i am first thinking overheating, dirty fan blades and a cloged cpu heatsink will surely cause this kind of problem,? is the pc new/old, is it clean or not,and also what is the make and model and specs , ram, processor, hd gb, and if possible open the side of it and look for lots of dust and look for the fan and be sure it is working there will be atleast 2 one for the inside box and one on the motherboard(the large circuitboard) see if they are working and if they are clean . get back to me and i will respond asap Robert Alan

It makes unexpectedly restart

This server should never restart as you describe
1: Turn off remove all 3 power supplies clean, replace
2: Clean the insides removes and reset each add-on card’
3: Remove each of the SCSCI drive from the front “DONOT MIX” up makes sure each drive returns to the same place as removed if not raid will be broken.
4: Check the UPS Power backup this sounds like you are running direct not on a UPS battery backup if so then replace the power strip with 20 amp. The wall outlet should also be 20 amp circuit barkers
5: After you have clean the server check to be sure all three power supplies are showing “GREEN” lights
The most common problem causing instant restart on this server is loose or poor connections it is possible you may have a” virus”?
From what little I know poor line power is causing your problem too many devices connected to the same wall out let may not Trip a barker yet will cause recycle of the server.
Memo:
If you must operate this server not on a UPS Battery backup then make sure one power supply is on a different circuit, meening on a separate barker in service panel .I hope this will help solve you problem.

The router is running fine all hook ups are fine changed the wireless card took that to a computer place and it was running fine at the shop when I got the pc home unable to access the internet even though...

The cable internet is not "seeing" the computer. The router is blocking it. That is why it works if you plug it into the modem directly. How to solve this is to turn everything off and unplug power to modems and routers for 3-5 minutes. Then replug in routers. Then restart computers.

That is why it worked at the computer store. Everything was shut down and restarted.

Also, sometimes it is necessary to call the ISP (for example Comcast) and have them re-send the signal. Also going to Control Panel Network Connections and choose "repair the connection" will reset the signal.
Be patient it will work.

My PC often restarts automatically when the main supply goes.

Hook up your computer directly to a surge protector or wall outlet and leave it on for a while and see if it restarts automatically, if it doesn't then you know your computer is fine.

If your computer still restarts automatically even with it not hooked up to a UPS then you know at that point theres a problem with the computer and not the UPS backups that have been plugged up to it. At that point it can be anything from an operating system issue to a hardware issue.

Also if you can verify that the computer is fine without it being hooked to a UPS then make sure the next UPS you get you only hook up the desktop and the monitor to it. This is a good way to make sure not to many items are hooked up to it that may be drawing more amps then normal.

Hey Hi,

Restart Your System And Hit F2 So that u can enter BIOS and leave the system as it is and check whether the system is restarting in the BIOS as well and if not then your system has VIRUS INFECTIONS and if not then.

If its restarting in the BIOS as well then take your system to a local computer guy and get the HEATSINK CHECKED because of the thrmal greasing has leaked your system is not in position to sin k all the heat its generating so u might have to replace heatsink and may be processor.....

But make sure that u do that fast because if the THERMAL GREASING is the issue then it may damage further..
