Question about NetGear DG834N Router (DG834N-100AUS)
I have a Netgear DG834N router (Roughly 2 year old), on the remote system, I can detect the wireless network, When i connect it, it take long time and connects with a limited connectivity. and finally disconects.,. all lights are green and flash. but no wireless service. Can you please help me with this issue.
Limited connectivity means you didn't get an IP address. Is the router set to give addresses via DHCP, or is another PC doing that? Most common cause of this problem is wrong authentication (normally "open") or encryption type (WEP, WPA or WPA2). Pklease note that encryption keys can be set as HEX or ASCII, if they are HEX it will be only numbers 0 to 9 and letters A-F. ASCII can be anything.
