Re: my player is dead and wont power up

Try pressing the a/b button and the menu button together apparently that works
(however the battery maybe low even when it has been charged up )

My samsung yp-u3 wont turn on...can access with computer and transfer files, but once disconnected is dead...reset didnt work

There's a possibility that it has a loose wire connection inside or the battery is already dead. You need to send it to an authorized repair shop, so that they could fix it.

Thank you!

My Samsung MP3 Player does not power on

In order to find a solution for your problem we need to know for how long you have used your device. I mean if you have used the device for a long time, it is obvious that your player's battery will be dead. So try to check the power of your battery using a multimeter.

Model#1825 it wont charge or turn on

Hello :

It seems that the battery is dead [ can't be recharged anymore ] . You need new battery . If you replaced the battery with new one and the device still can't be recharged , then I recommend you to take your player to the service .
You may also check the power transformer or power cord .

good luck .

My mp3 player is not working after 3 days of using it

Hi, try replace the battery and if it doesn't still power on, it means it is hardware problem, you need to get to a technician to help fix the problem.

Compliments and wish you the best.

My samsung mp3 player yp-f1 wont power up and when i plug it into the computer nothing happens either just like it went dead it does not power on, the pc recognizes the device you can upload music on it...

My Granddaughter has the same problem, but with intermittent problems.
Turned out she went to the beach and had gotten sand into the dial.
I took an air hose and blew around the dial while turning it. It works well now.
Hope that helps.

I think my iPod nano battery is at the end of its life. It will not power up on any of 4 sources, namely - 2 Mac computers, 1 Logitech docking station and 1 Apple power plug for iPod. I have re-booted it...

If it wont charge on any of multiple sources then you have a dead battery. Just to make sure, if you are comfortable with opening up your Ipod, check to make sure that the ribbon cable going from the chipset to the battery is securely plugged in on both sides.

Hello This is Bill MacLean See my earlier post on same problem of dead yp-f and also my reply to member wanting to replace battery. As you can see I had tried pretty well everything when I stumbled on a solution that worked for mine. Follow my directions in other post to remove Battery. Reassemble without
battery and hook up to usb/miniplug to computer.Unit is now powered only by computer usp and the battery is not interfering with
computer now recoginizing the unit. Reformat and reload the O/S
that came with the unit or download the firmware upgrader from Samsung. When you have access transfer some songs and unhook from compuer (remeber o use usb tray icon to stop unit as I think this is what crashed mine) Dissamble unit and replace battery and turn on. E-mail me if this works for yours of if it was a one time fluke with mine.
