SOURCE: Amana Electric Oven Issue
My oven never reaches the proper temperature sitting for baking. Controls for the oven only is push buttons. How can I adjust this. This has been going on since I have bought the Amana

The most common failure for a nobake on this type of oven is the bake ignitor. turn unit on and look at the bottom of the oven, you should after about 30-45 seconds see an ORANGE glow, if you do not, chances are you have a failed ignitor.Remove lower part of oven and if you have a meter, place one lead on each terminal and check for continuity( a closed circuit)
If you have an "open" circuit, the ignitor is bad
